Certification
Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA)
In our complex system of health care, certifications help to provide assurance of quality, safe and ethical conduct. Across industries, certification translates to confidence and trust, and is valued by consumers worldwide. Certification can help guide consumers to locate the most qualified service providers available.
BCPA is a credential earned by those who have studied and passed the official certification exam to determine their abilities and fitness for serving patients and their families who need assistance with some portion of their journey through the healthcare system.
This board requires the advocate to uphold the ethical and professional standards set forth for this organization.
Certified Senior Advocate (CSA)
The Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® is the leading certification for professionals serving older adults, and is a designation awarded to qualified individuals. Earning the CSA certification requires individuals to pass a rigorous exam and to uphold the highest ethical standards for the benefit and protection of the health and welfare of seniors.
CSAs are multidisciplinary professionals who have demonstrated advanced knowledge in the multiple processes of aging.
A CSA must adhere to the CSA Code of Professional Responsibility.
